The materials we used to build our boat include, a piece of card stock, foil, a plastic bag, straws, duct tape.  The shape of our boat is a a round rectangle.  With the card stock we created a base, with the foil, we covered the base to make it water proof, with the plastic bag we blew it up and made a float, the straws served a frame keep the boat balanced, with the duct tape, we created floaties and sealed the holes.  The foil went around the base, which was put ontop of the blown up plastic bag.  The straws were placed around the plastic bag, and the duct tape floaties were placed on the sides of the straws.  The buoyant force of our boat was 2121.37 g. The class average 1651g, so our boat was above average because it is the God of the Sea!
